Design requirements for corn harvesters

1. The designed corn harvester should be flexible during operation, transportation, and unloading, and suitable for use in small field plots.

2. In response to the current low cultural quality of farmers, the development of corn harvesters should be as easy to operate and maintain as possible.

3. The designed corn harvester should be able to harvest crops in different rows. Otherwise, it will not only affect the harvest quality but also reduce production efficiency. This has affected the enthusiasm of farmers to purchase corn harvesters.

4. The designed corn harvesting machine can harvest high humidity corn (with a moisture content of about 40% in the grains), and the ear and grain breakage rate shall not exceed the standard.

5. To prevent mold, there should not be too many stems and leaves in the harvested corn ears.

6. The unit should have good strength and stiffness, and be able to adapt to harsh field roads.

7. The harvesting function simultaneously provides high-quality returning of straw to the field.

8. The unit has high operational reliability.
